Plus, KPay App now includes a biometric login feature, providing enhanced security and faster access to your account.

Update 1: Simplified payee setup process with 50% fewer steps

To speed up the process of adding payees, the system now auto-fills company details based on the information you input. Users can quickly set up local business payees in just three simple steps.

New Streamlined Process:

Step1: The system now includes shortcut options that display your frequently selected banks, allowing you to choose a bank quickly.
Step2: Enter the payee’s bank account number.
Step3: Input the payee’s account name and click "Create Payee" to complete the process.

Update 2: Enhanced payment process with 6 key upgrades

In addition to simplifying the payee setup, the payout process itself has been enhanced with 6 key improvements, ensuring a faster and simpler payment experience.

Highlight1: You can now add frequently used payees directly to the "Pay Out" page. When initiating a payment, simply click on the payee from the “Pay Out” page to quickly enter the "Create payment" page. Additionally, during payment creation, you can easily select from the recently used payees at the top of the page.

 

Highlight2: When creating local payment instructions, simply enter the amount to be received by the payee. The system will automatically calculate the corresponding fees and the total debit amount for you.

Highlight3: When creating international remittance instructions, you can quickly decide whether to share the intermediary/agent fees between both parties with just a toggle.
 

Highlight4: All instant transfer payments now clearly display "Pay now" instead of just the current date, making it easier for you to identify bills that require instant transfers.

 

Highlight5: A new shortcut key for the "Payment reason" field now displays your commonly used options. You can select the reason quickly to expedite the payment process.

Highlight6: If you are an authorised payment approver, you can approve the payment simultaneously when submitting payment instructions, improving payment efficiency.

Update 3: Expanded global remittance services to 3 new regions

To enhance your international remittance experience, KPay’s quick payment account now supports remittances to Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, bringing the total number of supported countries to 13. Users can send international remittances for as low as HKD 10. This upgrade provides you with more options and greater flexibility when conducting overseas transactions.

Update 4: New biometric login feature

KPay App now includes a biometric login feature, offering greater security and faster access. Follow these simple steps to enable biometric login:

If you haven’t set up this feature yet, the system will guide you to enable face or fingerprint recognition when you next open the KPay App.

Depending on your phone settings and preferences, you can enable biometric login by following the prompts.

Once set up, the system will automatically verify your identity using your chosen biometric method every time you log in. Simply scan your face or fingerprint to securely log in.If you prefer to log in using a password, just select "Use Password Login" at the bottom of the screen during login.You can easily switch to password login by entering your registered email and password.

Additionally, after logging in, you can manage your login methods by going to the "Login settings" in the "Profile" page of the KPay App, where you can enable or disable biometric login.
